What? More pincushions? Sorry, but I can't help it. I'm just crazy about pincushions. AND crazy about making them. This one is killing me with cuteness! Tilda Groupie

I am a discerning buyer of fabric.  I almost always know what I am going to do with it before purchasing... except for this recent buy that arrived yesterday.  This is "Circus" by Tilda.  Fabric aficionados know that Tilda fabric is difficult to come by here in the U.S.  But I found this at one of my fave online stores, The Intrepid Thread.  Julie will be offering more as time goes by and we Tilda groupies are pretty happy about that!  And those buttons!  Aren't they just the cutest?  Hmmmm, .... what to make? 

Sitting Pretty!

I recently made a similar pincushion as a gift for a friend.  She loved it, and so did I!  There is just something about these sweet and understated colors that totally gets to me.  And that pewter colored vintage mirror back button finishes it off perfectly.  Just listed in my Etsy shop, Curry Bungalow

Playing Around

I've been playing around with pincushion variations and just finished this new one with flying geese. Many times when I make something new I am not entirely happy with it, I need a bit of time for it to grow on me.  But I LIKE THIS ONE!  I'm thinking that my next one will be made using batik fabrics.
